Jets came into this game looking sluggish against the Eagles, not being able to finish drives at all. All in all, it was a nail biter that came down to the wire. The Jets Carey Spear kicked the game winning field goal with only 20 seconds left in the game. Jets win 7th straight game to improve to 7-0. 20-17 Jets.

Rams @ Saints

Saints jumped out 24-0 after the first quarter, and 34-0 at halftime! Saints defense really came to play only giving up 225 yards for the game, the Saints offense had 517. Saints improve to 4-3, 4-0 with new ownership.

Week 7
Cardinals Vs Seahawks

Seattle finally does well in what they do worst, Running the ball and Takeaways.
Rawls-Mingo Trade showed its value this week vs Division Leader, Cardinals. Chubb came up with a huge run and, along with steady back up play from Prosise and maintained ball control Mingo had a critical Forced Fumble, taking away momentum the Cardinals. Cardinals still threw for 468 yards and came within stricking distance, but a missed FG and Missed Extra point came back to hurt them in the end. This win came at a High Cost with the Chancellor Brothers(just made that up) both out with Injury.

49ers Week 8 notes: SF 49ers finally wins a game vs Seattle 24-21 to break 3 game losing streak. 49ers improves record to 2-5.

QB Deshaun Watson was injured during game and didn't return. Looks like he should return next week vs Dallas. More details soon. Meanwhile backup QB Max Brown (USC) steps up with 297 YDs and 2 TDs.

Titans

• QB Marcus Mariota will return for injury.
• WR KaVontae Turpin returns from injury

• Titans will be without C Rodney Hudson for the rest of the year.

Week 7

Bears at Redskins

The Redskins defense really shined in this game limiting the bears to only 237 yards and forcing 3 turnovers. Matt jones carries the load for the redskins accumulating 122 yards rushing and one touchdown. Jimmy Weeks the sensational rookie lead the team in tackles and really showed some poise out there with veterans. After getting up 24-10 at half time the skins really never looked back only giving up 6 second half points. Looking forward to their rematch with the giants and a chance to make a playoff push.

Week 8 Lions at Chiefs: Lions 34 Chiefs 20

Josh Rosen had his best game of the year and the Lions move to 6-1 on the season with a road win against the Chiefs, 34-20. The defense came into the game ranked 4th overall but didn't have a great game statistically, giving up 444 yards. The Lions ran a bend but don't break approach and held on in-spite of the yardage allowed. The Lions will face off against the Eagles who are coming off a win against the previously undefeated Vikings.

The Lions will have to move on without Ameer Abdullah who will miss the next five weeks with broken ribs.

Redskins @ Giants

The Redskins flat out gave this game away. Had the pick at the end but LB slaps it to the ground. On the redskins next drive Kirk Cousins misreads the coverage and threw a pick to seal the deal for the rival Giants.

Week 9
Colts at Saints

The Saints are now 5-0 under new ownership, they jumped out to an early 14-0 lead before leading 28-21 at half, there was no D being played in the 1st half. The Defense is living by forcing turnovers, they are giving up yards, but a few turnovers have helped them out! In the 2nd half the shut out the Colts but scored only 6 points.

Week 9 Lions 27 Eagles 0

The Lions made it 6 wins in a row thanks to a great defensive effort. For the first time this year, the Lions defense got the shutout. With Abdullah injured, Marshall and Ware filled in nicely with solid performances. There were no offensive stats that jump out from this one but a zero in the turnover column preserved the Lions win. Rosen's continued improvement showed again in this one. After throwing 12 INTs in the first five games, Rosen has had no turnovers for the third game in a row. The Lions defense will really be tested next week as they will face off against the #2 ranked offense in the league against the Redskins.

Week 9 - Vikings 26, Bears 16

Minnesota jumped out to a 20-0 lead early and Chicago never recovered. The Bears were able to close the gap late as their defense stiffened up after the early run. However, they did drop a few would be INTs, at least one that would have been a pick 6.

SF 49ers defense was able to limit RB Zeke Elliott to 66 yds rushing and make some key sacks (4) and interceptions (2) to win game and improve record to 3-5. Also QB Deshaun Watson came back strong after missing previous week game with 3 TDs passes. SF 49ers spread the ball around with 9 players catching at least 1 pass.

Shoot out week 9 between these two teams putting up 83 points combined. Two big fumble turnovers by Marriota early led to Denver getting out in front early. Broncos Rookie HB Demarco Neal had a nice day with 2 TDs and had 92 of Denvers 122 yards rushing yards for the day.

Washington took the early lead and never looked back jumping out to a 20-6 halftime lead. Defense played well holding lions to just 61 yards rushing. Redskins hoping to make late push for the playoffs after this game puts them at 5-4 on the season.

Redskins at Cowboys

Redskins prevail in this game winning a shootout 46-38, putting the redskins at 6-4 now. Redskins cause 4 turnovers and forced a couple other fumbles that they wasn't able to get. After jumping out to a 21-14 halftime lead the redskins give up 21 points in the third but respond with huge 4th quarter to pull out the win. Big matchup next week with a really good New York Jets squad.
