What does sim football mean to you:
Sim means playing on the field the right way and also acting as a realistic owner. Exploring each route in the route tree, game planning for each individual opponent, always keeping an eye on salary cap and how moving each player would effect you. Theres so much more to sim than just playing the game. I know you guys know that which is what I miss about madden. A lot of other places dont get it.
What interests you in joining a sim league:
Realism. I like to feel like I am a real owner, not like I am just here to beat everybody up. That would be nice too though LOL.
What interests you about joining OUR league:
As I stated before. You guys offer a lot more than the average sim league. If I wanted to just play madden theres plenty of leagues for me. But I want more.
Would you rather win for follow every rule perfectly:
Following the rules comes first. I love winning as much as the next guy but at the same time I know how frustrating it is to feel cheated out of a win. And I would hate to have someone else feeling that way about me.
What is your opinion on breaking records in a sim league:
Records shouldnt really be broken. In my opinion in this years madden the CPU is very intelligent, add that to a good users play calling and you will find it nearly impossible to break a record. If you are making record breaking possible than I would assume you are cheesing in some way. Just my opinion on it.
How often do you run routes like outs, curls and comebacks:
I run different routes more often depending on situation. Curls and comebacks arent going to be my first option against a team that likes to go cover 3 a lot. I like to read a defense and make decision based off of that. I really try to get every route thrown out there a few times a game though.
What would you do if you were told you broke a rule after a game had been played:
If I won I would apologize for grabbing the win in a game like that. If I lost I would still apologize for the frustration I may have given my opponent. And then I would expect to be punished for whatever it is I may have done.
How would you respond if you were suspended for breaking a rule:
I would bench my players and continue balling. Next man up.

I can help out with whatever yall need when I have the time. I couldnt do it full time but if you give me a task you want me to complete I will be able to do it. I use a route chart so I don't have any issues mixing up my routes.​

Recognize what I did wrong and make sure it doesn't happen again.​

Sim football to me is getting the most authentic NFL experience possible from a video game; ranging from realistic play calling, stats, and front office management. For me it's not about the win-loss record as much as it is having the sim league mirror the true NFL as much as possible.​

What interests you in joining a sim league:

Have played many seasons throughout Madden's history against the CPU trying to create a sim franchise each year. Ready to take it to the next level and compete against others in a realistic NFL way. I just purchased Madden 18 and thought it would be a great time to start.​

What interests you about joining OUR league:

Your league aligns with my idea of a SIM league. I like the rule set and advancement schedule. I really like that we are required to prove ourselves before being invited up to the VIP league. Your league seems to be very well ran and very organized.​

Though records can be broken it's not realistic to see records broken every year. I'd be fine if I never broke any records.​

I rarely throw outs. Too many pick sixes =P I mostly try to establish the run then play action off of it. I'd say of the three routes listed I throw curls more then the others but it's not a big part of my game scheme.​

What would you do if you were told you broke a rule after a game had been played:

As a new player in the league I'd like to know what I did wrong so I could correct it in the future.​

I would serve my suspension willingly​

I depend on the team I have that I might favor some routes more than others but I love to mix it up even though I dink and dunk down the field.

I would own up to it and try to fix it if it can be fixed.

I have been in a sim league for years, love it, but have a little more time to join a second league and have been watching your league via Twitter for a while.​

The depth of the league and the amount of energy and effort required to be a long standing member means you have quality users.​

Guessing this is meant to say OR follow every rule....yes, follow the rule. I'd rather be 6-10 and considered a good league member than be 14-2 and have everyone hate me​

Only record I'm after is super bowl records. I don't care about stats, I just want to be a competitive team​

I run a variety of routes, I try not to lean on any route​

Discuss the rule violation with the guy I just played, and if a violation did indeed happen, I'd accept any penalty handed down.​

Don't break a rule you don't get suspended. Simple as that.​

It means playing the game how it should he played . Outsmarting opponents using a variety of plays to throw the opponent off. Using a variety of route combinations and defensive tactics to win the game the right way.​

I've mostly been a competitive player.. I was ranked about top 60 in the world last year in madden without using all the glitchy blitzes and 1 play touchdowns. In madden 18 I feel it's all worn out everyone runs the same defensive plays they run the same offenses and I just wanna come to a real league where people will just actually play football .​

I'd rather follow every rule perfectly cause as I man I don't feel right if I have to cheat to win games that's why i shyed away from unblockable blitzes and money plays last year​

Should be done by Star players not really no names.

EXP: Julio Odell AB AJ Green Jarvis Landry NUK should be like the only wrs to break records just like how AROD BRADY ETC should be the ones doing it. I don't think mid tier players should be breaking any records​

Usually if i see a mis match I will use it. If I see Odell on breshad breeland I'm gonna use routes with quick breaks just because the corner is obviously not good.​

Apologize, Learn from my mistake and never do the same thing again .​

I would do the time. If I was suspended for breaking a rule it's fine with me because I know I did something wrong and I read the rules so it's my fault and nobody else's​

I have heard great things from another owner and I like the sim rules. (Side Note: I am getting a PS4 for XMas and wouldn't be able to join until then if I were to be accepted into the league. I just wanted to get my application in ASAP)​

Records are rarely ever broken in real life and should rarely ever be broken in a sim league as well.​

When the play I select has those routes. Typically try to use out routes when I need to get out of bounds quickly after the pass is completed.​

I would like to know which rule and when so I can learn from my mistake.​

I would take the suspension and learn from my mistake so I do not repeat it.​

Sim means playing on the field the way that teams would play on Sunday, Thursday or Monday. Sims means not watching YouTube and learning glitch money plays or hot routing 10 times every play. Sims means punting when you should and kicking field goals when you should. Sim means not putting your fastest at RB and running toss sweeps all day. I could go on and on.

I am sim player and had no idea that real sim leagues existed. So happy to know that I was wrong.

I can tell that it's more than just your average Madden league. It's not just about wins and loses, it's about the on and off field experience.
Would you rather win for follow every rule perfectly:
Following the rules comes first and foremost, wins and losses don't matter as much as enjoying yourself and following the rules.
What is your opinion on breaking records in a sim league:
From my experience, all of the broken records were due to exploiting the CPU or just being a smuck and running up the score on a less talented player. I know records are made to be broken, but it shouldn't be a goal.
How often do you run routes like outs, curls and comebacks:
I run different routes more often depending on situation. My play style is based on down and distance, and not what route will work. I call plays not routes.
What would you do if you were told you broke a rule after a game had been played:
I would apologize and ensure that it would never happen again. But if you print the rules beforehand, and actually read them over, you shouldn't break a rule anyway.

I would oblige by whatever the suspension rules are.
