Name:
Ryan
Age:
24
Time Zone:
Pacific (ex. Los Angeles)
What is the most recent version of Madden that you have played:
Madden 18
How long do you typically play Madden for (a few months, during football season, year round):
Until March when the rosters stop updating
What does sim football mean to you:
SIM football means that I can finally play an NFL game and not just a football game. SIM leagues allow you to get pumped on defense when you force a 3 and out. That kind of intensity is something I miss from playing football that I want when I play Madden.
What interests you in joining a sim league:
I want the closest thing to the NFL as I can get. Franchise mode offers some of this, but it lacks the competitiveness I want during the season.
What interests you about joining OUR league:
Someone that is actively trying to start a small community of madden players shows this commissioner is passionate about having a top notch quality league. Every league usually dies out by inactive players or players that are winless, so with an active commissioner, I can see this league lasting multiple seasons.
Would you rather win for follow every rule perfectly:
I'd rather follow every rule perfectly. I've played football before, I know how it is to win with honor and now as an assistant coach I try to teach that.
What is your opinion on breaking records in a sim league:
I think its something cool to look at towards the end of the season. Online leagues allow us to track stats as the season goes, but just actively trying to throw the most TDs in a season is bad for the league. All of us want competitive integrity, so if there's one guy who at the end of the season doesn't care about winning and only cares about stats, then it taints the league.
How often do you run routes like outs, curls and comebacks:
Comebacks, in my play style, are run at least once a possession. Outs and curls, are non-existent with the threat of an easy interception always looming.Trench warfare is my style.
What would you do if you were told you broke a rule after a game had been played:
I would definitely try to see what caused this accusation and try to prove my case against it.
How would you respond if you were suspended for breaking a rule:
I'd be disappointed, unless I truly did break a rule. I'd probably dispute the claim professionally; however, if there was beyond reasonable doubt that I had broken a rule, I'd accept any punishment handed down by the league.
Could you create a team Twitter account and tweet 5-6 times per season about your team:
I could do that, nothing difficult about that at all.
Would you like to create team content like season previews, team articles, etc:
Team articles sounds very appealing, or discussing week in reviews.
