This trade has been declined for the following reason:

Werth is digressing. -4 in a lot of stats. Also has a fat contract which the brewers can barely handle. The only reason, and it's still a slight chance, a team would make this trade is if they were contenders. Which it's too early to tell. They are 13-14. The obvious reason for this trade is to dump salary, and teams don't dump salary to get an all star 2B who is in the final year of his contract.
