Eveyone does realize he is getting the 2nd overall pick in the draft right ?

Going back to the Orignal offer the difference between 2nd and 16 picks is worth the 6th overall pick. So a 3rd is likely a huge drop in talent

Right a huge drop in talent which is the first time I would pick again after the first round. You are picking at second position in the 2nd and 3rd rounds anyway.. At the same time gaining 2 players that will play now. Even though I can understand giving away my second I feel like giving 3rd instead could be justified and I agree with that option even more so.

I think both majesty95 and I said a 2nd would do just fine. He's getting the second overall pick but the player youre getting is worth that 2nd overall pick. So youre essentially trading your 2nd ovr pick for Linsley. Getting shields and the 16 ovr pick is too much value for Mettenberger and DGB.

For me, no. I'd probably be ok with you replacing your 1st with a 2nd though, A 4th is giving you way too much value at that point IMO.
