2016 NFL Draft Chat

From the UGA side of players the one lock of a 1st round prospect is Leonard Floyd. In the end I see someone drafting him higher then he should because pass rushers with high upside always go high. Some recent rumors even have him going as high as top 5 to Jag. But likely your like at mid 1st round. He is a 6'6 244 pound versatile defender that ran faster then the #1 WR. In the end I don't think I would take him in the first round

Here is a good article with mayock taking about him

You know it was interesting I just didn't see anything else that the Broncos would really want here. They still need a quarterback somewhere and they aren't going to get another real shot at one.

Do you think they take a QB just to take one? Or is Cook that good? I've ready mixed reviews so don't know.

Conner Cook is expected to go in the early 2nd round but wouldn't surprise me at all if he goes late 1st maybe as early to the Jets at 20 or someone else that trades up into late 1st like the browns,

Without taking into account any trading this is how I would like to see the Packers draft end up.

1st round: Andrew Billings - NT - Baylor
2nd round: Kyler Frackrell - OLB - Utah St.
3rd round: Nick Vennett - TE - Ohio St.
4th round: Joshua Perry - ILB - Ohio St.
4th round compensatory: Joe Haeg - OT - North Dakota St.
4th round compensatory #2: Dieondre' Hall - CB - Northern Iowa
5th round: Dominick Jackson - OG - Alabama
6th round: Matthew Ioannidis - DT/DE - Temple
7th round: Derek Watt - FB - Wisconsin

I'm wishing Ragland falls to the pack at 27. But some mocks have him going as high as 11 to Chicago. If Billings and Ragland are gone then trade out into the front of the 2nd and try to get another 4th rounder this year.

That could effect HBs in this class. Why take Elliott early if you know you have 3-4 studs (at least) coming out next year?
