Man what a season filled with injuries, comebacks and a 11 game win streak for the division title ! Many may see it as a lost season with our super bowl loss but we take great pride in appearing in the first ever Texan super bowl appearance. We came up just short against a great defense in Seattle and congratulate them on winning the super bowl. Let's take a look back at the season that was:

    OFFENSE-
[Good] Almost everything, lead by rookie of the year Deshaun Watson we boasted the highest scoring offense in the NFL. With Hopkins out most of the season Will Fuller had a breakout season and made his first pro bowl. The injury bug hit our rbs as well but Foreman and Miller still had productive years and will be leaned on as we search for our next OC.

[Bad] Not much to pick out on this side of the ball but O-line will be addressed via FA and the draft. Also cutting down on unnecessary turnovers will be the focus for Deshaun Watson.

    DEFENSE-
[Good] For a unit that couldn't stay healthy it was a nice surprise to have JJ Watt play every game this season! He helped us boast a top 3 run defense and force many turnovers. With Brian Cushing suspended 10 games rookie Zach Cunningham stepped up and was runner up for defensive rookie of the Year. Also a nice break out season for Kevin Johnson as he will now take over #1 CB responsibility next season.

[Bad] Pass Defense as a whole was atrocious for most of the season which lead to us moving on from Kareem Jackson and Jonathan Joseph. This will be addressed hard during the off-season. Conditioning will also be addressed to try and keep our players healthy. Way too many injuries on this side of the ball speaks to lack of conditioning and Captian Watt has already addressed the team.

Moving Forward we are in a good position for next year even with the lack of a 1st or 2nd rd pick in the upcoming draft. We are young in key positions and have finally found our Franchise QB. Expectations will be high once again and with a bad taste in our mouth we can't wait for next season...
