San Diego State is definitely excited to be heading home after opening the season with a 2 game road trip on the east coast. Facing the possibility of starting the season 0-2 the Aztecs were hoping to split the first two games with FSU and Georgia and in the end behind the legs of Chase Price the Aztecs return home 2-0.

A balanced attack on offense and a sturdy bend but don't break defense have the Aztecs off to a fast start.

UCLA 41, South Carolina 28

PASADENA, Calif. - Brett Hundley rebounded from a career worst game (5 INTs) to start the season by looking like the Hundley of old. The senior quarterback threw for 260 yards and four touchdowns as the #23 Bruins held off the #22 ranked Gamecocks 41-28.

The game started as a shootout as each team traded touchdowns throughout the first three quarters. Finally, in the fourth quarter UCLA's heralded defense (according to preseason rankings) began to get pressure and forced three turnovers.

The win moves UCLA to 1-1 on the year and drops South Carolina to 1-1 as well. The Bruins will stay home to host their now annual matchup with luettjohann and the Clemson Tigers next week while the Gamecocks will head to Madison to take on Big 10 power Wisconsin.
