Quick Breakdown:
  • Browns defense dominates with 4 takeaways and 4 sacks
  • Defense did this without Myles Garrett, who is still out a few weeks with broken ribs
  • Running game was phenomenal; Crowell, Johnson, and Kizer all ran the ball extremely well
  • Kizer missed some throws, could have been due to the rain
  • Nate Orchard and Emmanuel Ogbah have been excellent pass rushers
  • Orchard will see some time even with Garrett coming back soon
  • WR Sammie Coates will return against the Jets

Jets drop to 3-2 after losing in Cleveland.

The deal in NY is that we basically have to play perfectly to win with this roster and even then we can easily take an L to a superior club.

In week 3 and 4 we played great, the Defense came up big in both games and we won the turnover battle. Against the browns we turned it over twice (one the other way for 6) and while the D limited the Browns #1 rushing attack, our lack of turnovers forced and sacks/pass rush did us in.

After dropping to 3-4 with the loss in Miami, the Jets front office has announced that Christian Hackenburg will start the final 9 games of the season.

Josh McCown was playing well enough in the Jets conservative attack, but coaches want to take a look at Hack and his elite arm and see if he can find some accuracy and push the ball down the field more. This move seems to indicate that gr Jets are now starting to look towards next season being two games behind the Patriots at almost the halfway point in he year.

  • Struggled early to get things going

  • Eddie Lacy and J.D. McKissic put the offense on their backs
  • Defense will get DeShawn Shead back next week.
  • KJ Wright has been cleared by doctors, but will sit one more week.
