Cleveland Browns Week 1

Highlights are included in that recap.

• Browns looked strong in Week 1, improved to 1-0.
• Defense was a bit shaky, but picked off Big Ben 4 times.
• The offense looked dominant, but jury is still out on Deshone Kizer. He managed the game well but wasn't asked to do much.
• Running game was extremely impressive.
• Jabrill Peppers was all over the place.
• Myles Garrett might be the best player on this defense.
• No injuries!

Seattle Seahawks Week 1

• Offense struggles to get going
• Special teams aloud a field goal blocked
• Will look to get running game going in weeks to come
• Defense looks like they could be something special.
• Defense had 7 Ints
• Derrick Johnson will join the team in week 2.
  
• Lost Cliff Avril 6 weeks due to broken ribs
• Frank Clark will step up to fill Avril's role

The Chiefs have made Reggie Ragland a starter at MLBand have signed HB Bryce Brown in the hopes of filling the void left by Charcandrick West.
MLB Derrick Johnson has been moved to Seattle in exchange for a 3rd.

Seattle Seahawks Week 2

• Offense again struggles to really to get things moving
• Oline seems to be an open door
• Wilson did a good job managing the game in spite of being on his back a lot
• Defense pitches another shutout, flirting with greatness
• Frank Clark steps up in the absence of Cliff Avril and get 2 sacks

Bengals Week 1

• Dalton Struggles to hold things together again
• Bengals secondary is now the "Fly all you want buffet".
• Kevin Minter shows out in the absence of Von Burfict
• Mixon and Ross have 2 TDS each

Jets Week 1 impressions:

• When you give up back to back 80 yard runs and spot your opponent a 17-0 lead you aren't going to win many games.
• Forte and Powell combined for 16 runs for 25 yards
• No sacks and no interceptions isn't going to work in the long term
• Old man McCown wasn't great, but he wasn't terrible.

Following the week 1 L the Jets went out and signed Marlon Mack in FA to hopefully give the HB corps a spark

After I weak showing in the running game and protection. The Ravens have signed Jah Reid at RT. We have high hopes for this week's game.

After the first two weeks of the season the Titans have a 2-0 record. The Titans have relied on a heavy run game and smothering secondary. The running back split has almost been identical between Henry (27-162, 4 TDs) and Murray (32-152, 0 TDs). Mariota hasn't been asked to do much thus far as he has only attempted 36 passes in the first two games. The secondary has been outstanding led by the new free agent Logan Ryan and his 4 INTs. Rookie Adoree Jackson has also played well with 3 picks, including a pick 6 in week 1. Next up will be the stifling defense of the Seattle Seahawks who have yet to give up a point this season. Look for the Titans to continue to try to play ball control and limit the mistakes against this extremely aggressive defense.

New York Jets

Week 2 impressions

• The Jets scored 62 points in week 2, most in PX1 so far this season
• After the complaints about a lack of turnovers and sacks in week 1, the Jets defense forced 6 turnovers, recorded 7 sacks and scored 4 defensive touchdowns
• Josh McCown played mistake free, if he keeps this up, we may actually have to give him a 1 year deal in the offseason
• After an abysmal week 1 performance and the signing of Mack, HBs Forte and Powell combined for 14 carries and 134 yards with a pair of long TD runs in the mix
• Rookie SS Jamal Adams had a monster game getting a TFL, an INT and a FREC while scoring 2 defensive TDs.

Austin Sefarian Jenkins comes back from suspension next week and will be the #2 TE.

The burning question is which Jets team will show up in week 3, the anemic wk 1 jets or the mistake free wk 2 jets

Cleveland Browns Week 2

No highlight video this week because I forgot to record it

• Browns dominated in Week 2, improving to 2-0 on the season, and 2-0 in AFC North play
• Defense had 7 INTs, 2 pick 6s, and 6 sacks
• Running game was slowed down. Ravens focused on it
• Kizer stepped up. Looked like legit NFL QB
• Peppers was quiet on offense, but got his first career INT
• DE Myles Garrett out for 6-8 weeks with broken ribs
• Sammie Coates out 3-4 weeks with a shoulder tear
• Traded for WR Jaron Brown after the game, to replace Coates and Josh Gordon

Cardinals @ Lions

Quick Breakdown:

The team came out a little sluggish to start the season, noticeably the offense wasn't taking its normal shots down field and was constantly checking down to David Johnson. The defense really did it's job in the second half particularly and hold the Lions and new king of the cap Matthew Stafford to 16 points. Stafford only managed 232 yards and 1 tds. We also forced his first two pick of the year, courtesy of Tyrann Mathieu and Hassan Reddick. Cards win 34-16

• David Johnson: 18 carries 65 yards, 6 catches 68 yards 1 td

Week 2
Cardinals @ Colts

Quick Breakdown:
The offense found its rhythm early on thanks to Carson Palmer and that patented deep ball from Bruce Arians' offense. Palmer struck early and often but so did Jacoby Brissett and Kamar Aiken. Those two put on a show, but the bend don't break approach of the Cards paid off big as they stop them in the long run. Supposed breakout starter Justin Bethel was awful guarding Aiken and the Cardinals defense is being rumored to give Brandon Williams the start next game against the Cowboys. In the end, the Cardinals outlast the Colts yardage spree 43-24.

• David Johnson: 15 carries 71 yards 2 tds, 2 catches 53 yards

Seattle Seahawks week 3 recap

• Offense finally gets going
• Wilson has a strong showing, despite still being under pressure
  
• Oline woes are not looking up after starting RG E. Pocic goes down with a shoulder tear. set to miss 4 weeks
• Defense pitches another shutout.
• Could this defense be on GOAT level
• Richard Sherman suffered a broken collarbone in today game
• Team will try to find a stop gab until he returns
• DeShawn Shead suspension is looking even more detrimental now

NYG Week 3 recap


NYG Giants defense had a couple of pick 6s Interceptions. But Coach McAdoo stated that defense needs to play better since Eagles outgained NYG 351-264 yards.

Seattle Seahawks Week 4 Recap

• Offense was able to run the ball
• Lacy was very efficient
• Wilson struggles early in the passing game
  
• Not having Sherman and Shead was very evident in the first half
• Defense finally gives up points
  
• Defense will be without another key player. KJ Wright out for at least 5 weeks due to a dislocated ankle.

The Panthers rallied from down 21-7 and put up 35 unanswered points to hand the defending Super Bowl champs their first loss of the season. Christian McCaffrey stole the show with a punt return TD that shifted momentum as well as two long rushing touchdowns. The rookie from Stanford had 256 all purpose yards and three TD's in the game.

After starting the season 2-0 the Titans knew that they were playing with fire. The passing game was atrocious, even though they were winning. And then the Seattle Seahawks came to town and turned those worries into reality. With Mariota having his worse game as a pro in a 29-0 shellacking at the hands of the Hawks, the team spent hours focusing on getting the offense into some kind of rhythm. When gameday against the Texans finally came, it didn't take long to see that the hard work was paying off. Even though the Titans lost to the Texans, this game had plenty of upside. The Titans offense played a really great game...Problem was, the Texans offense played an almost perfect game. Neither team turned it over but the Texans scored on every possession but one. The Titans bounced back in Miami with another turnover-free game and came away with a 28-6 victory. Even though the running game is still the heart of this team, Mariota's improved play may be the biggest reason for this turnaround. Here are his stats:
