Week 1 Post Game Conference:

Press: Close win, but amazing defensive stance out there. One of the best defensive shutdowns we've seen against the Lions. However, it was clear Bridgewater struggled out there in the redzone, 4 interceptions, 2 of them in endzone, what was going on out there ?

Coach: Yeah Bridgewater got a bit of the opening day jitters, made some bad reads out there. However, I'm not worried about his performance. He'll do better next game, just one of those games. We are very happy with the defense's performance today, they even surprised me a bit. I would of like to seem some turnovers, but when you are dominating like that, didn't matter if they got the turnovers, 3 and out is almost as good.

Press: Peterson started as running back, but it looked like McKinnon faired better with the ball, averaging 4.3 per carry on his 6 carries. After this game can we expect to see McKinnon with more carries?

Coach: Pretty early to tell whom will get more carries. Obviously after every game we review the plays, and assign guys where they work best. Every team gives you a different look on run coverage, so really depends on whom we are playing as to whom carries the ball more. They both compliment each other quite well, so for now it will stay as it is.

Press: Despite the interceptions by Bridgewater, Bridgewater and Kearse were able to connect quite a bit today. Kearse leading the team with 7 receptions for 99 yards for the day. Give us your take on the receivers performance today?

Coach: Kearse had a great game, he definitely has turned into one of more reliable go to guys. Some of the guys appeared to have problems bringing in those hard catches, we'll be working on that. But some credit to their defense, their secondary was doing a good job on coverage and not making it easy for them out there today.

Press: Next week you have the Buccaneers to contend with, what can we expect?

Coach: The Offense will be more prepared and Bridgewater more in sync out there. Expect more of the same from the Defense.
