The Minnesota Vikings have formally announced plans to build a new stadium to replace the 31 year old Mall of America Field (Formerly the Hubert H Humphrey Metrodome). Details of the new stadium were not announced but it is expected to seat 65,ooo+ fans and have among the best amenities in the league. The decision to build either an open air or dome is still being decided.

I am going to do this as the Vikings already have a stadium approved and planned in real life. That stadium has a retractable roof (hybrid in game) but since the retractable roof serves no purpose int he game (is always closed) I am going to decide between open air (favored) and the dome (spehere).
