Starter
With a surprise move the BIG 12 brings in Tulane.
Tulane struggled in the American conference last season with a 6-6 record. But with a number 8 recruiting class the big 12 saw the potential in Tulane to become a powerhouse. There is still plenty of work for head coach Wessells before they will be able to compete every week in this conference. He is confident that he has the talent base to play in this league once they mature.
Offensive side of the ball is expected to struggle. They start 8 SR and 3 JR on offense this year. They will start a first time starter in SR QB LEE.
He will rely heavily on 2 HB that are also SR. McGuire is All American at RET. While Badie replaced Rounds in the last 4 games last season as the starter.
The surrounding cast around this trio is still improving but not quite there yet. 4 SR and 1 JR on the OL. They are lead by SR C Williams. He is a 4 year starter.
The wide receiving group and TE have so experience. The real talent is young and needs time to develop.
Defensively they return alot of experience here as well. 7 SR and 4 JR start on defense.
The defensive line is decent put with 3 new faces. the only returning starter is Aruna.
The line bacer group is 2 SR and 1 JR. but only one started last season.
The secondary has 3 returning starters and CB Robinson is moved from CB to FS.
Overall Tulane is improving as a team 4 to 5 points a season. If you look at the championship contenders section they are picked to be a top 10 team in 3 years. only time will tell. They have to get through this season first
