The Tigers are looking to add another lefty pitching prospect to the farm as their entire roster of ML starters are right handed. The Red Sox would acquire 2 pitching prospects in this deal with Pablo Lopez, a pretty well developed for a 19 year old prospect, being the lead player. Freeland has slightly more upside than Lopez, but is also a sidearm pitcher, which does sometimes limit how well they can do vs a certain handed batter.
