Welcome to a fresh season of The Ravens Report with a new season of Sim football here we feel optimistic for the season ahead. The Ravens of reality have the Ravens of Madden set up well but not great. The defense should be sound with one of the best linebacker groups in the league and a revamped secondary should be fun watching them fly around. The offense will start off the season with a question mark at the number two receiver slot. With Marlon Brown and Kamar Aiken pushing to stand out once play begins.
With owner Konvict27 a year wiser in CFM play and over all Sim football we are expecting to be a regular in the playoffs. With the Ravens having a new playbook you could see the running backs more involved in in the passing offense. Having four capable backs will have fresh legs on the field at all times and defenses guessing. Drafting should be improved from last year with the changes in game and a year of experience the Ravens will be in contention every season.
Here at the Ravens Report we would like to say good luck to all the owners who took the time to read this. Px1 is a top notch place for gaming fans and a big thanx to the guys who keep this going so us real sports gamers can have a home to stay up on the latest news and a fair playing field. So comeback and check us out here at The Ravens Report as we plan to turn things up as the season begins.

Welcome back to The Ravens Report we are four weeks in and the most hated Browns are on the plate. The Browns are off to a slow start at 1-3 but Johnny the druggie Manziel has a way of giving the Ravens trouble. The Ravens come in of a win verses the Steelers and are looking to keep pace with the Bengals who seem to be the favorite to win the division.
We have heard from our friends over at 105.9 The Fan that the Brown bagger fans have been jaw jacking all week saying how records don't matter and a win is in the cards for there beloved Browns. Obviously like the front office of the Browns the fans are clueless about the game of football. We even hear that they have been going extra hard in practice for hate week. The Ravens on the other hand only did walk throughs amnd instead of contact drills the Ravens went up Aberdeen and did some PT with the Army recruits at Aberdeen Proving Grounds. With game time approaching there is a sense of business as usual at the castle. So we will truly see how bad the blood is between these two teams my money is on purple but I just happen to like winners see you guys out there and thanks for checking out The Ravens Report. Before I go I will leave you with this sign from the last Browns loss.

Welcome back to the Ravens Report today we will take a look back at the season that was. The Ravens finished the season at 12-4 and champions of the north. The end of the season saw the Ravens lose in the AFC championship you can't help but think that the Ravens are better than the team we saw in Buffalo. Joe Flacco's arm led the Ravens threw the waves of the NFL finishing the year with 4200yds and 27tds. Flacco will have work to do in the off season giving up 26int. If the Ravens are going win a championship this number will have to come down. Flacco spread the ball around with 5 receivers having over 600yds. Leading the way was the crafty veteran Steve Smith Sr with 53cth 630yds 5tds. The future also looks bright on the outside with rookie Breshad Perriman blowing the tops off defenses. Only in a complimentary role this season the rook manage to lead the team in yards and touchdowns putting up 21cth 730yds 6tds. I can't wait to see how he is used as he moves up the depth chart. Overall the Ravens receiver core is young and talented the only hard part is good to get them all on the field.
The ground game was headed up by the rock solid Justin Forsett. Not breaking the thousand yard mark was a letdown Forsett did averaged over four yards a carry and has reliable hands out of the back field Forsett got the job done. The Oline was headed by the guards Marshall Yanda and Kelechi Osemele leading the way for the 970yds Forsett did rack up this season. The line did give up 30 sacks with six coming from left tackle Eugene Monroe. I would expect the Ravens too bring in competition for Monroe in the off season. With age not being a issue something has too give. The player that shined the most in the backfield was fullback Kyle Jusczcyk with 7tds he only trailed Flacco in touchdowns.
The defense was strong and menacing this season leading the squad was define year linebacker CJ Moseley leading the team with 61tak 2sak 2int. The defense finished in the top five overall and in the top ten against the rush and pass. The secondary held firm with four players multiple interception.Terrell Suggs defies father time to rack up over tackles and a team leading 9 sacks. The defense was good but not good enough as seen in the championship game. With the free agency the draft upon us we can't help but get excited for the new season as the Ravens look to hoist another Lombardi trophy in Baltimore. Thanx for checking in on The Ravens Report.

Welcome too a fresh season season of The Ravens Report. The Ravens fell short last season losing in the title game to the Buffalo Bills. As pre season kicks in to gear the Ravens have something to proove going froward. With plenty of young talent added too the core vets the AFC North will be going threw Baltimore.
Drafting well is a huge part of a winning formula and this year the Ravens Did a solid job filling the needs on the field. With the retirement of all pro Terrell Suggs the front office decided to go with outside linebacker Raysean Austin. Austin can get too the Qb and drop in coverage. Playing behind Elvis Dumerville and Courtney Upshaw he has the time to develop his first round talents. In the second round cornerback Derrick Mack came off the board to the Ravens. Mack is a perfect fit to slide for into the nickel slot. With speed and strong man coverage skills this young man will be prepared to start when the time comes. In the third round the brass brought in a half back going with Spenser Gardner. Garder is tough for his size and has just enough speed to get around the edge. The next two rounds tackles were on the menu Ryan Sheppard and Duane McNeil were obviously drafted due to the poor play of Eugene Monroe last season. Both are hungry and capable of stepping up to the plate and to push Monroe. Half back Javier Grimes receiver Noah Burns and quarterback Keliko Pendleton close out the draft. Burns has the speed to make some noise in this league while the other two have a up hill battle.
The one thing fans are waiting to see is second year receiver Breshad Perriman his explosive play last season has us all liking our chops to see this young man grow. The receiving core as a whole has a lot to proove with with the retirement of Steve Smith Sr. With most of the starters returning for another season the road to the Afc North title will roll threw Baltimore. Winning home field will be crucial to the Ravens winning the AFC and confidence to win a Super Bowl. A big thank you goes out to all who checked in and we hope you check back in on us as the season progresses.

Big news in Bmore as the Ravens promising young receiver Breshad Perriman has been suspended for two games. Handed down a few days ago the news finally broke today. At the press conference announcing the suspension head coach John Harbuagh said "It's on us we have to know what the rules are so to prevent things like this. We will move forward and prepare for the Bengals and next man up." When Perriman was asked about the details of the suspension he said " I can't really speak on it as we are in the appeal process. I will say that I will continue to play at a high level on the field and work on being the best receiver the city of Baltimore has ever seen".
This will surely affect play on the field I imagine we will see more of Campanaro the next two games. How will the Ravens adjust to the loss of speed defenses won't have to worry about the top being blown off. These next two games should be a fun watch for the Ravens faithful. Make sure the check back in as we move forward in another great Ravens season.
