Going into the year I thought the 5 user teams back from last year was close to locks to make the playoffs this year. With the 6th team I predicted the Jags who won over 10 games the last 2 years and now have Aaron Rogers. So far its looking like that predication is holding true

The Jets vs Dolphins game which still has to be played this week is a big game. It's gonna be very tough for the loser of that game to make the playoffs.

The bengals won like 8 games last year so I am surprised they are 0-5

Do not let the chargers 2-2 record fool you as they lost to Raiders and then another game from being on auto. There next 4 games are 49, bengals, steelers and seahawks. So 6-2 is what I would project for them going into the user stretch starting with the broncos. The always tricky CPU seahawks is always tough.

The broncos are the unknwn team from me in I don't know what to expect from them. Its obvious they are improved from last year and have a talented team. The past has shown that it takes 11 wins and 5 losses to guarantee a wildcard spot. They still have some tough user games to go with raiders, chargers, browns and cards. They can't afford any CPU losses.

The obvious main event this week is the Raiders vs the Browns a possible AFC championship game. The browns are the only undeafted team and have yet beat the raiders. If the raiders win looks like it will be 4 AFC teams that are 6-1

The loser of the Dolphins vs Texans will move to the out of contention side of the playoff race.

I project the Broncos and Jags to hold serve this week just like the Titans, Bill and Chargers have already done.

The dolphins have fought back into a dark horse playoff team but the next 2 games are the lions and Jags. They need to find a way to somehow win 1 of them if they want to make the playoffs.

The browns beating the raiders last week came as bit of a surprise and it looks like they will run away with the AFC North which in preseason looked like it would be one of the best in the NFL. The next major test for them will be week 11 vs the Bucs

Its doubtful the raiders lose 2 games in a row and this week face another playoff team in the titans. If the titans lose then that opens the door for the Broncos whose schedule is starting to get easier.

The chargers and Jags both should win this week

If they Jets want to keep playoff hopes alive they must beat the Patriots this week

If the Ravens lose to the Broncos they will be out of the playoff race

We now officially have 7 teams going for 6 spots

The jags have unofficially won the AFC south with a 2 game lead plus the tiebreakers winning both games vs the titans this year. They also have a easy schedule left so getting 13 wins and a 1st round bye is very possible

It looks like whoever wins the West will not get a bye with everyone beating up on each other

A big game tonight in the AFC west with Denver still looking for that signature win this year.

The controversial finish of the Browns- bucs game could really hurt the browns with the Bills and Jags keeping on wininning. You would think the winner of the upcoming Jags-Browns game will get one of the other byes with the Bills getting the other.

But the Bills still have 2 very tough games to in Lions and Raiders so I wouldn't project them to finish 15-1 more like 14-2.

Some really great games this week and up to 5 of the 7 teams could realistically get losses. So that makes the browns in a good spot as they should get the win vs the steelers then sit back and watch some of the others teams lose.

The AFC west so tight now with 3 teams having the same record its way to early to start trying to figure out who has the edge. None of the 3 teams have easy schedules left.

Keep a eye on the dolphins if they win week 11 vs CPU then get a win vs titans week 12 that would put them back in as longshot playoff team

It just doesn't look like the 7 teams in the AFC are going to lose unless they play each other. I would be curious to see the record for the 7 teams outside of the other top 6 teams in the AFC. For comparison sake the current AFC playoff teams have 12 losses while the NFC has 19 and 1 tie.

Huge game between Jags and Browns where the winner likely gets a 1st round bye

The chargers are in a uphill battle to make the playoffs after the loss to the raiders but defnetly not out of it. But he needs to win out which means wins vs Browns and Cardinals. Of course they need losses by Broncos and Titans.

The titans are the most likely team of them and Broncos to have 2 losses with 1 automatic loss coming vs the Bills.

The Raiders will likely win the AFC West even with a loss vs the Bills as they have the better conf record then the other 2 teams.

Lots of unexpected moving parts over the last few days but lets first start with the 2 blockbuster possible AFC playoff games. Browns and Bills are still trying to clinch a 1st round bye so they need to win. While the chargers and titans both are coming off recent losses and desperately need to win.

As yall may have read the raiders are now a CPU team and that immediately changed the playoff race when they lost to the rams week 15. The following 2 games for them are CPU teams and they are still likely to make the playoffs if they can win 1 of those 2.

I didn't put it in the standings but the Broncos will get a sim to loss for week 16 and then the Jets on week 17 will play the broncos via the CPU. They will also have to do this without star QB Eric Hill for the reason of the season. Also star HB Austin will miss one of those games with a suspension. If the win week 17 vs Jets they will likely still make the playoffs.

The head to head is pretty confusing but I'll try titans have it over raiders, raiders have it over broncos and chargers. While the chargers and Broncos split. If Chargers and Titans win the remaining CPU game then both plus Broncos will all be 3-3 in the division.

The Jags will not lose again and will finish the season 14-2 they have Colts week 17
