Q: Interesting ending. You guys started the game going behind by 14-0 and it looked like early on you were going to lose this one. Playing away from home, usually a start like that means you guys are taking home an L. How did you turn that game around?

Coach: We had some bad plays, but we were able to move the ball and that kept it from getting out of hand. The early interception and the one later on is what made this game close. Our defense was holding up well, and we were able to keep their offense off the field with the long drives. Minus the interceptions those are the kinda of games we feel good about. Run game was solid, we were able to convert over 70% on 3rd down situations. Our passing game was effective, very balanced game, the type of game play we need to execute to be successful next season.

Q: Randle came up big with that 94 yard touchdown reception in overtime to win the game. We'll assume the game ball went to him?

Coach: Randle played very well, came up with that clutch play in overtime. He's been a real solid addition to this team, and been very consist with his production on the field. When the play went off, it looked like they were going to get a hand on it, but great pass. The offensive line did a good job of getting Bridgewater enough time to be able to wait for Randle to get in position. It was a high risk play, we initially called a run play and saw they were guessing run as well and stuffed the box, so we called a play action and were hoping they bit on it. Randle did the rest by extending that play and turning it into a touchdown.

Q: It was nice to see Peterson have a much more productive game averaging over 4 yards a carry, compared to last weeks game against the Texans, in which he was pretty much shutdown. What do you accredit for that ?

Coach: We tried to do a better job of calling run plays in better running situations, and worked on better run blocking. When we played the Texans we were trying to force run plays in, versus letting the game develop into more running opportunities, which is why we were more successful with it today.

Q: Nothing on the line for this game, besides pride. How do you keep everyone motivated going into next season?

Coach: We prepare for every game, like its playoff game. May not seem like it when we lose a game, but we are a competitive bunch and see these games as opportunities to get better. Next week we play Green Bay, we hope to make that a tough as possible for them. No easy meal tickets being handed out here.

Q: We look forward to that matchup next week. Good game to end the season between division rivalries. First game of the season you had their number and came up with a sizable victory against them. However, they have had a great season since then, and probably won't be the same team you played last time around. Good luck til next week.
