WEEK 1

The Ravens take on the Buffalo Bills in week 1. The Bills went 8-8 last season, but with a new owner comes, the Bills are looking to get back to the Bills of the 90's.

Led by dual-threat QB Tyrod Taylor, the Bills offense looks to be an explosive unit. Taylor has some nice options to get the ball to. With Sammy Watkins, Charles Clay, and Lesean McCoy the Bills can put up points in a hurry. The Ravens will look to try to contain all that speed on the Bills and not let the big plays happen.

The Bills D is led by former Alabama star Marcell Dareus. He leads a front seven that will definitely try to get after the Ravens QB and stuff the run. The Ravens suspect O-Line will have to step up to keep Dareus and OLB Jerry Hughes out of the backfield. The Ravens will also have to keep tabs on the rookie from Ohio State Adolphus Washington. The Bills secondary is down one of their biggest playmakers Stephon Gilmore (Knee), but they do have a very capable backup in the 5th year player, Sterling Moore. In the backend, the Bills have a steady veteran in Corey Gheam that will look to keep the Ravens from breaking anything big.

The Ravens will have to play a complete and mistake free game to get a win against this talented Bills team. And if they don't play this way the team will be 0-1. And that's not the way the new owner wants to see his first season start out.

Week 2

In week 2 the Ravens travel to Cleveland to take on the 1-0 Browns. The Browns defeated the Eagles in week 1, 12-9. The Browns were definitely led by their defense in their previous game as they held the Eagles to just 9 points. They played tremendous red zone D. The Eagles could only manage field goals against the tough Cleveland D. The Ravens will try to fair much better than the Eagles did in the red zone, and try to come away with 7's instead of 3's.

Cleveland was led offensively by Robert Griffin lll, who finished 21 of 29 for 211 yards. The Ravens will hope to contain Griffin through the air and on the ground. As everyone knows Griffin can hurt you with his feet just as much as with his arm. The Ravens will also have to keep tabs on the speedster out of Baylor, rookie Corey Coleman. Coleman finished week 1 with 81 yards on 5 catches.

The Ravens offense will also look to get things going better than they did in week 1. They could only manage 223 total yards week 1. If they want to win, they will have to play much better offensively this week against the Browns. The main issue last week was the pressure that Flacco encountered from the Bills. He was sacked 3 times and pressure constantly. The Ravens will also look for much better production from the ground game. "Buck" Allen looks to cut into some of the carries that Justin Forsett received in week 1. Forsett rushed for only 1.7 ypc and Allen averaged 6.8. How the carries are distributed has yet to be seen but Allen looked much more explosive in the prior game.

The Ravens D on the other hand, looked dominant against the Bills and hope to keep that going in week 2. Aaron Colvin was DPOW for week 1, after nabbing 3 int's and took 1 of those to the house.

However this one turns out we believe it will be a tough, defensive game, which the AFC North is known for.

Week 4

In week 4 the Ravens are at home against the 2-1 Raiders. The Raiders are bringing the 2nd ranked D in terms of total yards allowed. With the 4th best pass D and 3rd best run D. They have also snagged the leagues 4th best number of interceptions, with 9. This defense had looked amazing so far in this young season, which is not good news for this terrible Ravens offense.

The Ravens will probably look to make this a defensive game and keep the scores low. If the Raiders put up points early this game will be over early. The Ravens offensive line has been dreadful, allowing 18 sacks of Joe Flacco already this season. Flacco has also been careless with the ball. He has already thrown 6 int's and fumbled 5 times. Just this reporter's opinion, the Ravens might want to look into playing Ryan Mallet this week. He certainly can't do any worse. But regardless of who plays QB, they will be running for their lives in the pocket.

Whichever QB plays probably won't matter as the Ravens will probably stay on the losing side of things this week once again.
