In the second week of preseason the Ravens were handled thoroughly by the Colts, 38-10. Although no starters and most second string players never saw the field, Coach Harbaugh wanted to see a better product on the field. Third string QB Josh Johnson really struggled in this game. With a rating of only 58.3 and 4 turnovers his battle with Ryan Mallet to be the backup is all but over now.

The colts were led bye 5th year back Jordan Todman who had 112 yards and 2tds on 17 carries.

The Ravens will look to bounce back next week against the Lions. Coach Harbaugh said we would see the majority of the starters play in next weeks game. Most starters have not seen the field so far this preseason.

In Week 3 of the preseason the Baltimore Ravens played the Detroit Lions. But really both teams played against the weather. Neither team got anything going offensively. And the kickers went 0 for 5 collectively.

But in the end it was the Lions pulling out the victory 13-7. Both defenses were stout in this game. With the Ravens giving up 289 total yards and the Lions allowing only 204. The Lions were led offensively by backup QB Dan Orlovsky who went 7-11 for 183 and 2 tds. The lone touchdown for the Ravens was scored by Javorius Allen who finished with 58 yards on 14 carries and the 1 TD.

The Ravens will look to play better next week when the travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints.

Well it's finally the last week of preseason. The Ravens were on the road for the last game, taking on the Saints. Both teams didn't leave the starters in for very long. The Ravens were definitely lucky that Drew Brees didn't see much time on the field because he was torching the Raven's D. Brees finished 6 of 8 for 75 yards and 1 TD, before he exited.

The Raven's starting QB didn't fare as well. Joe Flacco finished 1-3 with 2 Int. But when Ryan Mallett entered the game, the Raven's offense got going. Mallett finished 17-20 for 258 yards and 3 TDs. With 2 of those touchdowns going to 2nd year player Breshad Perriman. Perriman finished with 4 catches for 106.

Neither team got anything going on the ground. The Ravens only managed 55 yards and the Saints came away with only 4. The final score ended up 20-16 in favor of the Ravens.

Both teams are looking forward to starting the regular season. The Ravens first week game is at home against the Buffalo Bills.
