After a week 1 route at the hands of a fantastic Giants team the Rams have alot to think about going in to week 2. They face the reigning NFC West champions, the Seattle Seahawks. though the rams have not done alot right in the last few seasons i would like to highlight two of the playmakers on the team who's jobs will be to turn those close loses into crucial wins.
CB Chris Cook
Cook was signed as a free agent last year and made a immediate impact on the team. 37 solo tackles, 39 assisted tackles, 6 for a loss, and led the team in interceptions with 7 (2 for a TD) though on paper Cook is not the best corner in the league, he has found himself in a very important role on this team
Jared Goff
unfortunate tips played a large role in Goff throwing 29 interceptions last year but despite that, he became the true leader for the Rams offense, He passed for 21 touch downs and ran for 4 more.
The obvious bigger names of our teams (Aaron Donald and Tavon Austin) made there fair share of great plays last season and have the stats to back up there statuses as elite players, but these two have been a pleasant surprise and hope to suprise even more this season
