So the Baltimore Ravens came out victorious in their first preseason game of the year. It was a hard fought game versus the reigning NFC champions.
Quick thoughts:
- Joe Flacco looked healthy during the time he spent in the game. Flacco who is coming of a knee injury has been a question mark for the Ravens but today's performance answered a lot of the those questions. He went 5/8 for 54 yards in limited snaps.
- Mike Wallace who is in a battle for the slot WR did not have the best of games. He dropped a crucial pass and overall had one catch for one yard.
- Rookie WR Chris Moore was very impressive today. His speed was able to stretch the Panthers secondary. He finished up with 3 catches for 97 yards and a TD.
- On defense the Ravens suffered an injury to rookie OLB Matt Judon. Up to his injury Judon had impressed intercepting a pass from Derek Anderson the drive before he got hurt. He will be out for 8 weeks with a ruptured disk.
