The Pittsburgh Pirates and Philadelphia Phillies have agreed in principle to a trade sending 23 year old RHP Dylan Bundy to the Phillies in exchange for 27 LHP Mark Hardy. The Pirates thought Bundy would turn into a potential back half rotation starter but has yet to remain consistent when at the big league level. They are looking for a young SP to fill out the rotation. Hardy has gotten very little MLB experience, but has been great in the minors and fills the need of the Pirates. The Phillies are able to get a young pitcher in return, as well as getting back above the Salary Cap.
