the Eagles started the season with a decisive lose to the redskins 33-10. not the start that any team is looking for, but bounced back against the Chiefs 20-10 in wk 2.
Alshon Jeffery got into a groove and settled in to the #1 receiver spot as he racked up 5 receptions, 129 yds, and a TD. This game was unfortunately followed by 4 straight loses including some winnable games. Eagles offense imploded as they drop a 10 point game to the giants that was heavily aided by two pick sixes including one thrown in the Eagles endzone. week 7 saw a emergence of what we expected from the Eagles all along. The Defense lead the way in a very tight game that went came down to the last second against the very team that rolled over the eagles in wk 1.
Week 8 ended with another win in a tight game against the 49ers. The Season has been far from what the Eagles have expected so far however there is alot to be proud at this point of the season. Alshon Jeffery has proven to be a extremely reliable target. the one two punch of Blount and Sproles has been able to keep defenses on their toes. As long as the offense can be a bit more consistent and the defense keeps doing what they are doing the future looks bright in Philly. Fly Eagles Fly!
