Packers Nation!!!!!!!
"We didn't lose any more than we won, we have our options for areas of opportunities to improve for next year" Coach Single

"I expect more, we can produce more, so we will, or we'll make adjustments to do so.." Easy E

Wade Wolfman/Press-Gazette Media

As the year has unfortunately come to end here in Green Bay, fans and the community can't help but feel just dissatisfied with the final results of a year that seemed to just drag on with one heartbreaking upset after another.

It started in the very first week loss this year against the alive and well playoff active Seahawks in the loud and electrifying atmosphere CenturyLink field most often creates. The Packers seemed to be playing not to lose, and somewhat timid even, the game was somewhat a defensive struggle but the playcalling on the offensive side of the ball just didn't seem to be where needed to really ever gain any momentum, or provide a punch at anytime throughout. It was needless to say a long trip back to Wisconsin after coming away one point short losing 13-12.

The season that followed seemed to play an extension of the opener in the sense that it was up and down, back and forth, and in every opportunity the team found themselves in a position to really move ahead, or jump out in a lead whether in game, or in the chase for postseason action they didn't. Although the team managed to put together some very solid wins and exciting performances. They just didn't have the formula early on in the year to even compete at times.

"We had some new things we were implementing with our offense earlier in the season, it took a while to get things really together.. We'll continue to improve and we'll be back next year." Aaron Rodgers

"Our offense sputtered at times this year in big games that we could't afford to lose. Coach addressed it very clearly and we'll fix it." Jordy
Nelson

"Next year we'll be more comfortable with our team's play calling situation, I'm excited to see what that translates to on the field." Randall Cobb

Defense

"
As far as defense we made some adjustments this year that I feel are key to the future of the brand of football we try to create here." Brandon Mebane

Along with young and talented and recently moved to RE to fill team needs Jordan Hill, and the no introduction needed Brandon Mebane, the defensive line definitely upgraded. Not to mention the spectacular addition of Barkevious Mingo to an already solid Linebacker corps! As pressure was often a presence for opposing quarterbacks this year we are only to presume that next year will be much the same with the renegotiation of a few key contracts to include Hill, Mingo, Hayward, and Perry.

"We feel our front 7 will be a factor to consider for opponents next year" Clay Matthews

The Packers will work hard as they always have to improve on this past year. They finish an even 8-8, as the new owner is obviously not satisfied with the results. He pointed out in an interview shortly after the season ender that, he's excited to be at the helm of this organization, and things are only looking up for next year. As I'm sure the fans appreciate this focus and dedication to improve, we can all know as sure as the snow will come every winter, that the rowdy PackerNation will be out an about and in full force come next year!!! Stay Proud Packer Fans Season 3 is coming soon!!!
