The Washington Redskins are traveling to Charlotte to face the Carolina Panthers for a chance to go to the NFC Championship Game. This is a rematch from week 11 when Carolina came away with a 24-10 victory with a huge interception to seal the game in the fourth quarter.
Washington is coming into this game with a huge wildcard weekend victory against division rival New York Giants. Washington's defense allowed only 198 yards of offense and is going to look to hold the Panthers offense to the same.
The Panthers come into this game with a very strong offense. The Panthers finished first in points scored this season and will need to keep the points coming to walk away with a win against the Redskins. To do so Cam Newton will have to stay on target with top receiver Kelvin Benjamin and getting Greg Olsen into the passing game early. You can't over look the importance of running the football with Jonathan Stewart and Cam Newton getting out of the pocket. This game has a chance to be a classic, however the Panthers will need to keep the turnovers down to work on taking control of the game.
