OVERVIEW

Quite possibly one of the biggest stories of the off-season was the Cleveland Browns being purchased by longtime fan Thomas Adams (xX5StarTAXx). Under new ownership, Thomas has guaranteed the Browns as we all know are GONE. The winning tradition that is Cleveland has returned.

Head Coach Mike Pettine begins Season number 2 and is looking to turn some heads this season. Coach Pettine and staff have made some changes not only to the roster, but too the uniforms. GM Ray Farmer was quoted saying "We are the Oregon of the NFL!"

After a defensive lead 6-3 start last season the Browns collapsed and manged just 1 win over the final 7 games. A QB controversy mid-season was not the answer for the Browns. With their 6th offensive coordinator in 6 years the Browns hope they can finally solve their offensive problems.

QUARTERBACK

JoshMcCownTrainingCamp.jpg

Another season, another QB controversy. The Browns began a search 16 years ago too find a franchise QB. Fast forward to present day and the search is on going. 22 QBs have started a regular season game for the Cleveland Browns. With the off-season addition of Josh McCown he's arguably the favorite to be the 23rd starting QB for the Browns since 1999. Johnny Manziel with 2 starts under his belt looks to earn back the respect and trust of so many. Could Johnny quite possibly when the stating job? Or will 36 year old,12 year vet Josh McCown get the job? In Cleveland ANYTHING is possible.

RUNNING BACK

Isiah Crowell and Terrance West. Two names not many people heard last year, but two names people will not forget! Terrance West was the 94th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft for the Cleveland Browns. Towson university alumni racked up 673 yards and 4 TDs last season. Isiah Crowell's path to the Browns was not an easy one. He went undrafted and was signed by the Browns. Last Season he went for 607 yards and 8 TDs. A two headed monster and with the addition of Duke Johnson Jr could very easily turn in too a THREE HEADED MONSTER. Defenses.... BEWARE!

RECEIVERS
BrianHartline.jpg

One of the most versatile and electric receiving corps in the NFL. Josh Gordon, Taylor Gabriel, Travis Benjamin and Andrew Hawkins lead the charge. With the additions of Brian Hartline and Dwayne Bowe it's safe to say whoever gets the start at QB will be one happy camper.

With new additions also come a HUGE loss. Jordan Cameron departed in the off-season. Miami stole the all pro TE from right under Cleveland's feet. A huge hole to fill. Is Gary Barnidge or Jim Dray the Answer? Time tells all.

OFFENSIVE LINE
Oline.jpg

Quite possibly the best offensive line in the league. Lead by All Pro left tackle Joe Thomas this offensive line will install FEAR into any defense that tries to cross them. Joining Joe Thomas is Center Alex Mac who returns from a gruesome leg injury, second year guard Joel Bitonio, guard John Greco and right tackle Mitchell Schwartz. With the addition of quit possibly the most versatile lineman in the league Cameron Erving via the draft all defenses have been put on notice.

DEFENSIVE LINE
DannyShelton.jpg

The weakest point of the Browns defense a season ago. The Browns gave up 141 rushing yards a game. Dead last in the NFL. The Browns needed to address this issue this off-season. Meet Danny Shelton. 6 feet 2 inches tall. 339 pounds of run stopping muscle. Considered the steal of the draft by most experts he will immediately be a force to be reckoned with. Joining Shelton on the line will be veterans Randy Starks and Desmond Bryant.

LINEBACKERS

Lead by veteran middle linebacker Karlos Dansby the Browns Linebackers are ready for 2015! Paul Kruger, Barkevious Mingo, Craig Robertson, rookie Nate Orchard and the TINY TITAN himself Christian Kirksey join Karlos as one of the fastest LINEBACKER Corps in the League. Combining for 187 tackles, 16 Sacks and 3 int last season Browns linebackers are HUNGRY for the Season to start.

SECONDARY
joe_haden_2012_11_04.jpg

Joe Haden, Donte Whinter, Tashuan Gipson, K'wuan Williams, Justin Gilbert. Need I say more? The best secondary in the league? Without a doubt. 209 tackles, 49 pass defended and 11 int combined in 2014. Tashuan was on pace for a record year before going down with injury. He's back better than ever. With the addition of Tramon Williams Cleveland is officially a NO FLY ZONE.

SPECIAL TEAMS
AndyLee.jpg

Out Spencer Lanning and Billy Cundiff. In Andy Lee and Carey Spear. The 3x Pro Bowler Andy Lee was traded by the 49ers to the Browns on June 6th 2015. Carey Spear is a rookie out of Vanderbilt university. The Browns look to improve a Special Teams game that was pretty lackluster in 2014.

FINAL ANALYSIS

The Future looks very bright for the Cleveland Browns. They're on puzzle piece away. Could the Browns hoist the Lombardi trophy in February? Browns owner Thomas Adams (xX5StarTAXx) was qouted "I don't think we can hoist the trophy. I KNOW WE CAN!"
