New owner Tommy White shows up to make waves! The news going around Jersey is that the new owner of the New York Jets, Tommy White, is here to make a splash and bring the Jets back to the glory days. How he intends to do that has yet to be seen but it will be something to pay attention to. White took over the team after potential starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was traded for a third round pick in next years draft. This gives White the chance to show his potential as a team builder. To go along with that extra pick, White will also have close to around $40m in cap room to work with during the offseason in case some potential game changers happen to make it to free agency.

The offensive side of the ball is looking brighter every day! Something to help White out this season is first round pick Sam Darnold. Darnold will be getting the start at quarterback this season ahead of veteran journey man Josh McCown. While both quarterback looked great in their preseason starts, Darnold did just enough to edge out McCown to win the starting position. Along with Darnold on the offense is running backs Isiah Crowell and Bilal Powell. The tandem will try to show their impressive running skills to the world as they look to help this offense to the playoffs. Though the two backs are eager and willing, they'll have to show their skills behind an abysmal offensive line that needs an overhauling in a major way. The key for this offense will be for the offensive line to make the plays needed to give both Darnold and the backs enough time to show their magic.

The shining star of this team is the defense! Lead by second year player Jamal Adams at strong safety the defense looks to shut down any opposing team and perhaps even score some points their self. Helping Adams with the defense will be Morris Claiborne, Buster Skrine, Avery Williamson, and Leonard Williams. All these player can make an impact on this game whenever they choose to impose their will.

What will the future hold for these Jets? A winning season? A playoff appearance? A superbowl? Or maybe just another top ten draft pick in next years drat. Either way, we'll be eagerly watching this team throughout the season, especially when it comes to their rivalry games against the Patriots, Dolphins, and Bills.
