Steelers reached out for help in the DT area. Jaguars need some offense. While James won't make a huge impact yet, the Jags are content with letting him develop and seeing part time playing while this whole young team develops. The 3rd pick helps with compensation for the great DT. Miller has performed this year tallying 25 tackles 9 TFL and 3.5 sacks, which is production Pittsburgh is looking for. Moving Miller will help get Marks and the young rookie Day some more playing time. James has potential to be a reliable target in the offense owner Chris BigTex is looking to run here in his tenure with Jacksonville.

Owner Joe Greene believes that picking up Miller will help his dl. Miller will start as soon as he arrives, and would be much needed help at DT!

I vote no. I don't think a 29 year old DT is worth a 3rd. If so, barely. Def not worth a 70+ OVR TE too which is what this guy will be after a couple weeks of development. In fact, I'd be more inclined to approve the TE straight up fur Miller as he's fit the skills to be a great receiving TE. I say take your pick. The 3rd or the TE but not both

I would agree with Mike. I think the pair is too much. I would approve of James and a 5th. A 22 years old TE is valuable and you could draft a solid guy in the 3rd. I think the TE straight or the TE and a 5th at most would make this trade acceptable.

Luis3250 has decided he is going to keep the pick and I can't trade one of my starting DT for a 4th string TE who won't play very much. Looks like this trade fell apart. Thanks guys!

There's nothing we can do about this now be we advanced, but Luis3250 you can't decide to back out once the trade is submitted. You agreed to a 3rd and we said a 4th was probably ok which was better for you. You cannot back out and change your mind. Tex could hscevif he felt the 4th was not enough but you were getting a better deal and should have gone with the recommendation.
