First, I want to thank you guys for taking this seriously and using it to help both our current members ands our new members get better as sim gamers. However, I wan to go over this process again real quick as we have had some issues pop up in the past few weeks that hopefully we can minimize. Please remember that this system is in place to give users feedback and to help them improve as sim gamers. Also, please keep in mind that our version of sim is much different than most leagues. We hold ourselves to a higher standard so newer users are going to have more of a learning curve.
Here is a quick run down of the basic guidelines for grading gameplay. Of course, you can always refer to the league guidelines and rules for more info.
The second, and most important, part of this is the feedback system. Everyone is required to send their opponent a PM and include me, pack1797, BigTexas18 and georgiafan in it any time they give their opponent a 4 or less gameplay rating. This is so we have a record of what the issue was with a certain user and can track if they improve. This is also so the user knows what they did wrong and how they can improve to fit our version of sim football.
Remember, this is solely focused on helping guys get better. Its not to call out guys. Its not a place to vent when you're frustrated. Its designed to help us all play the most realistic, sim football that we can. With that, keep in mind that not everyone completely understands our version of sim. We saw that in the League Crawler tournament.
As we grow, there are going to be growing pains. Many of you started our with a 3 or 4 gameplay rating here. How was that handled with you? What did you like about how it was handled? What could have been done better? Think about that and use that in your feedback.
Unless you are giving a 1 or a 2, the majority of the game your opponent did something right. Tell them that. If you are frustrated or upset, take time to cool down before submitting/confirming the rating and sending feedback. Then, show them that you noticed what they did well before you point our their flaws. Wrap it up by thanking them for their time and telling them that you look forward to playing them again or seeing their improvement or that you are available for scrimmage games if they want to practice. Show them that we realize they are humans and can have bad games and set the example for them by offering to help them improve or at least thanking them for being here and trying to adapt knowing our rules are more strict than most.
We want to best the best league out there, regardless of system. The gameplay rankings give us a very unique way to help guys improve. Let's make sure that we are keeping that in mind when using the system. Use it to help guys improve and use it to build relationships with new guys. We can only grow as strong as our weakest links. Let's make sure this system is used to strengthen those links and make us the strongest, most active, dedicated group of sim football gamers on the planet!

- 5 stars - The user played a solid, simulation game. They may have had 1-2 small infractions like going over on a route or two and/or maybe broke 1 small rule like goal line situations. Overall, though, they played solid sim football.
- 4 stars - The user played solid sim football but got a little too carried away with a few things. This user maybe have gone over by 2-4 on one or two routes and maybe used their TE too much and maybe have been a little too reliant on the same kind of runs (inside or outside). Overall, it was a solid sim game but you may have felt a tad bit cheated (win or lose) because of their reliance on a few things a little to much.
- 3 stars - You felt cheated in this game. The user obviously understand sim principles but they relied too much on corners and crossing routes, etc. They played mostly sim but felt like they went to their go to plays or "Madden" plays in bog spots. They have potential to get better but need to work on several things to get up to our standard of play.
- 2 stars - Typically, you won't see this very often and should be very rare. This user had only basic concepts of sim football. They may have punted on 4th down and may have mixed things up a little but mostly ran the same 6-7 plays on offense or defense. They always went to Madden plays in key spots and are more suited for MUT and online play than a sim league.
- 1 star - This user looked like a guy playing in the Madden Championships. They were only concerned about exploiting flaws in the game.
