Jets up 21-20 with about 3 minutes left in the 4th, and the Browns had just used their final timeout. Todd Bowles had his first difficult decision to make only 25 minutes into his debut. Go for it on 4th and 1 and seal the game, or take the points and leave it in the hands of the 2nd half stifling defense? Geno Smith heads onto the field with the 4th down play-call in his head. Mangold snaps the ball. The Browns guess power dive, but Geno dumps off to his RB in the flats. First down and TOUCHDOWN.

This one will go down as a week 1 classic. Both teams made their own share of mistakes, but both played a great game. In the end, it was all about possession. The Browns struggled in the 2nd half providing no offense to what was a solid defensive performance all game. The Jets rallied for 4 touchdowns on the day, 2 in the air and 2 on the ground. Geno Smith looked poised in the pocket as he let his 121 QB rating do all of his talking for the day. Muhammed Wilkerson was an absolute monster on the end, racking up 3 sacks and creating pressure on the Browns final drive, which ultimately ended in a 4th down sack by Damon Harrison.

The Browns will head home to face the Titans in a week 2 matchup. The Jets are on the road in Indy to take on the Colts.
