Ever since Todd Gurley was selected with the 10th pick by the St. Louis Rams, the fan base has been screaming PLAYOFF BOUND!!!! If Gurley can prove to be healthy coming off an ACL injury he received during his UGA campaign, the Rams will have a serious opportunity to compete for a playoff spot in the NFC West division. One of the most dynamic college running backs to come into the NFL in recent memory. Adrian Peterson clone perhaps? The other big addition to the offense includes Nick Foles who was acquired via a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles. The Rams will lean heavily on the run game, but the offense still needs a quarterback centerpiece to manage the unit and lead those late-game comebacks. 2014 was considered a down year for Foles, but he was able to lead the Eagles to two fourth quarter comebacks. With the stellar defense the Rams will be putting on the field, Foles just needs to manage the game and hand the ball off to Gurley.

The Rams enter the year with a tenacious pass rush led by Robert Quinn and Chris Long. They were arguably the top defensive line tandem in the NFL last year. The addition of Nick Fairley ought to prove to be an interesting addition to an already solid group. As Rams fans, we can only hope the hype is for real and the offense catches up to the already talented defense. The St. Louis Daily predicts a 11-5 record with a playoff birth. Time to bring the Lombardi back to St. Louis!!!
