After coming off a superbowl loss, Atlanta heads into the offseason to improve their squad enough to bring home the Lombardi Trophy, and we'll track the team's moves in free agency and the draft and asses their season as it develops.

Resignings:
Levine Toilolo- a 1 year prove-it deal. Expect a competition in the offseason to determine a starting TE
O-brien Schofield- a bit of depth at the linebacker position
James Stone and Chris Scott- 2 1-year contracts designed to stabilize depth
Retirements
Roddy white- White was a force for 12 years, but he fell out of offensive schemes as he aged and players like Marvin Jones, Avery Reed and Leonard Hankerson stepped up their performances. Still, a Falcons' great
Brent Grimes- Grimes came back to Atlanta to finish his career, but fell just shy of gaining that evasive superbowl ring. A tough homecoming for the standout CB

Rumors:
-Dan Quinn may want to shift away from Matt Ryan and develop a QB that fits his scheme (he's reportedly interested in a more athletic Quarterback with a big arm). Ryan may still start, but his successor could be acquired this year and molded in a back-up role
