Good Day Bengals fans and PX1Sports all around the world,

Week 9 - Week 17 Record 6-3:

There was a lot of pressure for the Bengals to perform well throughout the season despite their bad start. The Bengals started off only winning 3 out of their first 8 games. The fan base wasn't happy, ownership wasn't happen and people had high expectations for this team. At this point there was a turning point starting with the leaders of this team. Andy Dalton started playing with a fierceness that ignited the offense in spite of his turnover issues which we will discuss later. A.J. Green shown what it means to be an All-Pro great receiver. Green was simply dominate this year catching more that 100 catches this season. Green, wasn't alone Tyler Eifert started to explode in the second half of the season racking over 1000 yards and should be a Pro Bowler. On the defensive side domination was at it's best. Even in the games that this team lost they manage to hold opponents under 100 yards of rushing starting with the two big men in the middle. Geno Atkins and Jonathan Allen both combined for 49 solo tackles, which 26 was for a loss, and 13.5 sacks. The two men on the outside was a disruption for the opposing QBs Michael Johnson and Carlos Dunlap. These two outside DE combined for 25 sacks, 8 forced fumbles, and 29 tackles for loss. These linemen contributed to the 3rd best team against the run.

Let's talk about some player who don't get enough recognition on this team for their contributions:

Adam "Pacman" Jones:
Adam has been a leader on this team by covering some of the best receiver. Adam lead the secondary with 4 interceptions this season. Adam has also been a mentor for 2nd year corner William Jackson III. Jackson was struggling earlier this year after high expectations being drafted in the first round. Jones had the same type of expectations earlier in his career, but in the way of behavior on\off the field.

William Jackson III had one of his best games against the Raiders. Jackson is starting to make a name of his own by earning the #2 CB spot behind Adam Jones. William was drafted in the same class as Jalen Ramsey and Vernon Hargreaves III. So there's some pressure to live up at these guys or even exceed. Jackson is a young man that takes instructions well and will be a great commodity for this team.

We can't forget about those big uglies up front, they kept Dalton clean for the amount of time there was a passing play.

Let's talk about the next phase for the Bengals "Playoffs": Yes we said playoffs!

The number one question coming into the Post-Season is can Marvin Lewis get over the hump and propel this team to a playoff victory. It was a surprise that the ownership decided to keep him around. One of the key attributes was how he developed the defense and put this team on the map.

The Bengals have a tall task facing one of the best teams in the NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars don't make many mistake and can run the ball. The Bengals will have to play mistake free football in order to compete with this team. This team features two All-Pro receivers in Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns. These two are a teams worst nightmare because of their height and craftiness. Their signal calling is nothing to play with also Blake Bortles has proven he belongs in this league. This would be a tall task for the Bengals. The Jaguars secondary featuring second year CB Jalen Ramsey is nothing to look over. The Jaguars also have some young studs on the front seven. Myles Jack and Dante Fowler Jr. to name a few. The Bengals are excited for the challenge.
