Dolphins Bengals Trade

I'll have to think on this a but more. This trade would leave Bengals with 5M cap space for this year. Is that really best for this team? I also think Alonso's overall is a bit muted for some reason. He looks to me to be a top tier LB with a strong contact so could be a player a defense is built around. Alonso was drafted in the 2nd round and not sure he has lost much value since then. Like I said I'll have to think on this a bit longer.

Alonzo doesn't shed blocks well and doesn't cover well. He's a solid tackler and edge defender but that's about it. He's also got a pretty big contract ($4-6 M escalating each year). I think he's worth a 3rd at this point considering he's not going to improve and has a reasonably big contract. I'll vote yes.

I'll agree that i dont think he is going to improve drastically at this point in his career. His contract does worry me for Alex's sake but he can afford it so I am going to vote yes.
