The Browns fell to 1-3 over this past weekend. There's a lot to be hopeful in Cleveland as their 3 losses have come from a combined 15 points. In order to turn the season around their defense either has to get more stops or force some turnovers. Hue Jackson hinted that the offense seems to be pressing and that's why the turnover numbers have gone up the past two games. He feels they have a lot to build on, and is hopeful to turn the season around, but the Browns have their next two games on the road, sandwich in between them will be their early bye week.

In off the field news, the Browns announced a 10 million dollar investment into their team store. After taking control their ownership group, led by Tim Couch are trying to get more buy in from their fans. They dropped ticket prices, and general concession prices as well. The invest seemed to pay off in the first reports, we will see if there are any future changes on that front.

Also the Browns announced their first resign, that being Joel Bitonio (LG) for 4 years and about 27million dollars. The signing was not announced publicly but sources say it was around 6.5 mil. Bitonio has been an above average guard who is still only 25 years old. Sources also indicated that Paul Kruger and Drew Brees would not be returning. As of now the Browns have about 85 million in cap space next year, and if they maneuver their cap correctly and cut some guys that are not playing at seasons end could easily end up with over 100 mil. This will be something to watch with ownership, as they discuss potentially allowing themselves a full season of revenue before really spending on FA.
