Seattle brought home the Lombardi trophy and now it's time to focus on season 2 and continue to build the dynasty
Almost every key player returns this year so the rapport on the team will remain strong ... The Draft brought in some depth and some surprises ... Seahawks drafted two DTs, two HBs, WR, RE, and with their 1st round pick they took a projected 5th round LT out of Iowa who moves into the starting lineup at RT
The rookie DTs Mario Galvin and Latwan Hendrix will start in the 4-3 offense ... Both players showed during OTAs that they were NFL ready so Seattle moved to trade current starters, veteran Mebane and Hill to the Packers for 2nd yr CB Randall and a 5th round pick ... Both DTs should develop quickly and provide plenty of punch up the middle
Marshawn Lynch seems to be a step slower coming out of camp so look for rookies JC Graves and Verley Bell to get some carries and experience ... Could one step up and be Marshawn's replacement? Might still be a year away but the time is now to make the most of each opportunity for these rookies
Russell Wilson will be expected to clean up the interceptions this year as Seattle moves to a new offensive playbook ... Expect Russell to also move the yard markers more with his feet this year and take advantage of his speed and mobility ... Wilson has that added dimension and the Seahawks need to take advantage of it
Defense is expected to yet again produce turnovers and play that slobber knocker style of football that you have come to love and enjoy in the Northwest ... Very hard hitting and aggressive ... A lot of man to man coverage to allow the front 7 to pressure the QB
