Good evening Buffalo fans,

It appears that after week 1, the Bills began to show significant signs of improvement. This time, the running game made the difference as the Bills held Cardinals back 20-18. This score puts the Bills at 2-1 (1-0).

As mentioned earlier, the running game made the difference. LeSean McCoy shook off his sluggish start of the season with 130 yards and 1TD in 17 carries as well as 22 receiving yards in 4 catches. The highlight of his day was a 52 yard breakaway that culminated in 6 points. Additionally, Sammy Watkins finished the game with 3 receptions and 66 receiving yards (including the winning touchdown.)

On the opposite side of the ball, the Bills continue to hold running backs away from the spotlight. This time the defense only allowed 68 total rushing yards on a total of 18 attempts. The secondary is not shy to step in either. The first points of the game came when Robert Blanton picked off Palmer and returned for 6. "We are not here in the hope that the offense outscores the other team. Our goal is complete shutdown. Until then, we'll work extra hard every practice and every game."

The Patriots are next on the Bills schedule. Earlier this week, New England projected a victory against the Bills that fueled outrage from the city of Buffalo. We will find out what they have in store for us...
