The Bengals organization wants to win now while we have a young QB and WR tandem. Bringing T.J Ward in will add that championship value. The Broncos are trying to save some salary cap after paying some of their quality players from a year ago.

Cap penalty is the amount of unpaid bonus forwarded to that team's salary cap if cut or traded. We still don't know Ward's contract. The $20.5M was his initial contract value. How many years are left and at what salary?
