AFC OROY Race

1.) Reggie Jackson
Coming into this league as one of the most highly sought after tight ends in recent memory Reggie Jackson has done nothing to disappoint. He has lived up to his 1st round drafting by the Browns. The first tight end drafted in the first round by the Browns since Kellen Winslow, Reggie Jackson has hit the ground running. Catching 39 balls for 587 yards an 5 touchdowns Jackson looks to continue his impressive rookie season as he has the Browns in prime position for a wildcard spot.

2.) Pone Farmer
Drafted #49 overall ( 17th pick in the 2nd round) Pone Farmer looked to come in an make an immediate impact right away an that is exactly what he has done. 4th on his team in receptions with 32, Farmer has been a go to guy in crunch time. Averaging nearly 15 yards a reception an accounting for 3 touchdowns in New Englands balanced passing game. Can Pone keep pace with Mr Jackson?

3.) Nolan Harris
Out of Lehigh college Nolan Harris came into the league as the highest ranked QB in the draft. Shattering records in only 3 seasons at Lehigh Nolan came into the NFL with very high expectations. Those expectations have not been met to a certain degree. Struggling in his rookie year Nolan has thrown 15 INT's to only 8 TD's. Nolan had his best game as a pro back in week 9 @ San Francisco where he threw for 206 yards I 3 touchdowns. Despite the struggles Nolan still finds himself at #3 in OROY voting in the AFC

4.) Darrick Hennings
Darrick Hennings comes into the league out of the University of Oklahoma an may have found himself a home in Buffalo. Darrick drafted with the 94th in the draft didn't come in with the high expectations many thought he might come in with. He has carried the ball 44 times on the year for Buffalo in a backup duty to Lesean McCoy. Hennings is averaging 4 yards per carry but has yet to break the endzone in his rookie season. If he wants any chance at making a run at AFC OROY that will need to change

5.) Michael Wilson
This one is a little bit cofusing to me. Having only attempted 19 passes on the year an only 1 touchdown Michael Wilson finds himself in the top 5 of voting. If this award was based solely on potential then Wilson would win this award hands down. With superstar potential an one of the most accurate balls in the league already as a rookie Wilson looks to have the future of an elite QB in this league for years. But with Osweiler in front of him will that opportunity come in Denver? That is to be determined.
