The Dodgers have agreed to send MLB pitcher Sam Gaviglio to the Diamonbacks in exchange for 3 minor league prospects. Gaviglio seems to be the odd man out as the Dodgers have Gonzalez healthy and Kahnle returning from injury shortly. The choice was made to shop Gaviglio rather than to place him on waivers. The Diamondbacks answered the call when the Dodgers shopped Gaviglio around,he should slot into their starting rotation at possibly the #2 spot

I’m gunna say no. Trade leans a little too much to the dodgers for me.

Honestly, I don't think either teams are getting much value. A 50 overall SP has some as a back of the rotation SP but a 20 overall 24 1/2 year old doesn't have really any value. Fisher, if he develops, makes it as maybe a MR or specialist, and the 3B is a crapshoot lotto spec. If anything the Dodgers are losing this deal.

So 3 guys at 20 overall and 24 years old are too much for a SP that will be a mlb starter for them.
