If you were to tell the Packers going into last season that they would go 1-5 in the NFC North and go to the playoffs, the owner CJ would probably think your playing a joke. Well.. they go 1-5 but they went 9-1 outside the division getting themselves a wild card game against the LA Rams. They won the game against and almost made a comeback against the eventual NFC Champions the Atlanta Falcons. The Pack made some tough choices in the offseason letting go of popular and productive players in Clay Matthews, James Starks, and Randall Cobb. When endings come new beginnings as the Pack look to get younger while still looking to prevail in the tough NFC. It starts with the return of Aaron Rodgers who didnt have his best year when it comes to touchdowns and interceptions, but is still one the best QB's in the NFL. He doesnt have to do it alone as he has young superstar and rookie of the year Christian McCaffrey to turn and had the ball off to. McCaffrey is coming off a season in which he ran for 1,310 yards and 17 touchdowns, but he had 2 subpar games in the playoffs and looks to improve on his rookie season. Speaking of rookies, the Packers traded up in the draft to get prize safety Derwin James, who is expected to come in to start at safety and make an immediate impact. They are still some questions going into 2018.. Can they finally beat the Vikings after losing 4 straight to them? Can the oline continue there good play from last year? Can McCaffrey avoid the sophomore slump? Can they get through the 1st 4 games in one piece? Many good questions with only one way to answer...GO PACK GO!!
