Miami- The City is buzzing, and as the weather turns you can feel the excitement in the air, as the Dolphins season draws closer!

As the new owner Tiger Boyd takes over the reigns here in Miami, a sense of newness has followed, he has very quickly immersed himself into the game plan to bring this team back to life. After last year's disappointing 6-10 season he will have his work cut out for him.

"This team has a few great foundational pieces to work with, I'm excited to get things underway!" Owner Tiger

Offense- With the addition of Arian Foster in the backfield the Dolphins will be taken more seriously on the ground and it should help Tannehill free up the passing lanes. Since Fosters' arrival here in Miami he's been impressive, although some fans in the area have voiced concerns of his age, he will look to literally hit the ground running. Foster is coming off a season ending injury last year tearing his Achilles, but reports have now confirmed he has won the starting role over Jay Ajayi. After the departure of Lamar Miller this offseason, Foster will give the squad a proven, experienced option. The tailback played in only four games last year after rushing for 1,246 yards the year before.

"Arain Foster still looks like Arian Foster, we're thrilled to have him here." Coach Adam Gase
Jarvis Landry emerged as one of the league's underrated receivers last year, but there's not a lot around him. Although DeVante Parker is showing flashes of greatness very early in his career, it's still inconsistent. Kenny Stills however has seemed to really settle in at his #3 role, and so far looks to play a solid part in the 2016 season. Overall the Dolphins look pretty thin at the WR position, Greg Jennings retired. Richard Matthews signed with the Titans. Landry will have to shoulder this corps responsibility to remain threatening and continue to spread the defense out if the veteran Foster is to gobble up any yards on the ground.

Defense- Suh and Wake will lead the Dolphins defensive line as Suh was ranked the 27th best player in the NFL last season by Pro Football Focus (PFF). Suh surpassed 1,000 snaps for the first time in his career while recording 60 pressures and batting down 5 passes. PFF ultimately placed Suh as the number 3 ranked pass-rushing defensive lineman in the NFL. The only two ahead of him were J.J. Watt and Aaron Donald.

Secondary Standount -Reshad Jones broke through to stardom last year and transformed into arguably one of the best safties in the game. He hauled in 5 interceptions, returned two for touchdowns and was a pro bowler for the first time in his career. He has speed to wreck havoc against opposing quarterbacks and physicality to assist in run support. Last year he recorded a total of 106 tackles and a couple sacks.

2016 Season is near and the Dophins hope to make their mark this year in the AFC East!! So get excited we are close now!! Here's to having a great year!!! Till next time Go DOLPHINS!!!
