On the verge of the Trade Deadline, the Pirates have made two trades to hopefully push them into the post season. The first of the trades is with the Red Sox. Pitssburgh is sending 22 year old underachieving SS Jonathan Villar to Boston in exchange for 27 year old LHP David Price. This is a move to help bolster the rotation for Pittsburgh and gives Boston a young player with tremendous upside. Both teams have been frustrated with the performance of their respective player and a change of scenery may help both.
