the competition of playing vs people that are good and you dont have to worry about getting cheesed and can just play good football. and normally the sim leagues last longer and last longer then other leagues that arent sim

How long do you typically play Madden for (a few months, during football season, year round):
Year Round
What does sim football mean to you:
Balance of offensive play calling between run and pass, inside and outside runs, multiple route variations and utilizing matchups to move the ball down the field. Defensively a mix of man and zone coverages and blitzing and keeping your opponent off balance. Not trying to abuse any known glitches to win a game as well as respecting your opponent at all times.
What interests you in joining a sim league:
I run a pretty good league and its hard to find other well run All Pro simulation leagues that do a great job managing the play on the field as well as the enhancements off the field to make a game fun.
What interests you about joining OUR league:
I have admired the work you guys do from afar for a while and as the only other league I would consider playing in besides my own, I would love to join a legacy you guys have started in the arena of video game football. The same efforts I put into my own league I can easily replicate here with a lot less streas as simply being a member.
Would you rather win for follow every rule perfectly:
Following the rules, coaching high school football in real life is real stress, this is just for fun and winning is just icing on the cake.
What is your opinion on breaking records in a sim league:
Doesnt matter, never has been a motivation for me at all.
How often do you run routes like outs, curls and comebacks:
I run outs when I see a majority of Cover 3 against me, curls vs zone and comebacks vs man coverage in longer yardage situations. Just depends on the tendencies Im shown against whoever plays me, but those routes are a smaller part of my offense.
What would you do if you were told you broke a rule after a game had been played:
I would just apologize and review the rules to ensure it doesnt happen again, being new to the league.
How would you respond if you were suspended for breaking a rule:
Accept it and move forward, thats the expectation of joining a sim league.
Could you create a team Twitter account and tweet 5-6 times per season about your team:
Yes
Would you like to create team content like season previews, team articles, etc:
Already do sjmi

What is your opinion on breaking records in a sim league:
Shouldn't happen on a regular basis.
How often do you run routes like outs, curls and comebacks:
Depends on things such as down and distance, how far off the CBs are playing, and Man vs Zone tendencies of the player.

Playing the game similar to what you see on Sundays during an NFL game.

I mix up my play calling pretty good. But i will change it up more to follow the rules. 20%maybe a little more
What would you do if you were told you broke a rule after a game had been played:

I would take it

Madden 17
How long do you typically play Madden for (a few months, during football season, year round):
Year Round
What does sim football mean to you:
Having run a pretty succesful sim league in the past, I think sim is basically "simulating" what you see on a typical Sunday. You don't go out there running the same play every down, and you are punting in punting situations.
What interests you in joining a sim league:
I did not continue my sim league for this release because of time restraints. I was putting out a "magazine" each and every advance(every other day) that highlighted tons of stuff throughout the league and I simply didn't have time to do that any longer. I didn't want to tell the guys that it would just be a regular old league with no extra features, because that eliminates part of the fun.
What interests you about joining OUR league:
The extra features and in depth coverage sound like a ton of fun. I enjoy having our "own world" when those features and things come out. I also have seen that this has been a league that has been around for a long time. With this being the first year mine is shut down, I want to join one that is going to last.
Would you rather win for follow every rule perfectly:
I would rather follow the rules. If I can win while following the rules perfectly, then that is a slam dunk. If I go down because I am simply beat, then I am beat and I move onto next week.
What is your opinion on breaking records in a sim league:
I don't think that week 1 somebody should go out with the goal in mind to try to break a record on the season. I mean it happens in the NFL(Look at CJ2k the year he said im rushing for 2,100 yards this year), but its rare. I think when you enter week 14-15 and your close to breaking a record, especially if your out of the playoffs, you may look towards that goal as many NFL teams would do. That doesn't mean handing your running back 60 carries a game for the last few weeks.
How often do you run routes like outs, curls and comebacks:
Just as often as other plays in my playbook. I am a run heavy team for sure, but my runs all vary.
What would you do if you were told you broke a rule after a game had been played:
I would apologize and go back and watch the game to find the rule break so that I know exactly what I did to ensure it didn't happen again. I would have to just accept my punishment and move on.
How would you respond if you were suspended for breaking a rule:
I would do the same as above. Review the tape, find the break so I can avoid it happening ever again. I would have to just accept my suspension and move on to the end of it. Once the sentencing is laid down, you do your time, and prepare to come back.
Could you create a team Twitter account and tweet 5-6 times per season about your team:
Absolutely.
Would you like to create team content like season previews, team articles, etc:
Yes, I would like to do this. As I said, my league had a magazine that was build each adavnce. Normally 10-12 pages worth of content and photos. I can handle doing season previous, team articles, and things for my team, just not for the entire league.

Madden 17
How long do you typically play Madden for (a few months, during football season, year round):
Year round. Usually quit end of July, early August for a break.
What does sim football mean to you:
Not using same plays, formations. Using an entire playbook. Not blitzing every play or doing some cheese qb scrambles. Not abusing SO, or the many glitches that are sure to come. Basically avoid all the YouTube cheese.
What interests you in joining a sim league:
I am an admin in another sim league, and believe that sim football is Tue best kind of football.
What interests you about joining OUR league:
The ways you presented the league made it sound like something everyone would want to join. The quarter length is interesting, as well as the commentary and game streams. Looks like an active community I would enjoy being in.
Would you rather win for follow every rule perfectly:
Winning is important, but the integrity of the league is first and foremost the most important. Rules MUST be followed religiously.
What is your opinion on breaking records in a sim league:
Record breaking happens. It's a video game so some will always get more sacks, td, int, than probably a real player. If done by the rules, I would have no issues. If cheated or didn't follow rules, then I would be against it.
How often do you run routes like outs, curls and comebacks:
Come backs and curls are tricky cause most zone cb sit on em since man is broken. I ran my fair share of outs, but I always make sure to mix in all routes and try to include a playbook with multiple routes on a single play, or hot route accordingly.
What would you do if you were told you broke a rule after a game had been played:
I would accept any punishment accordingly and learn to not do it again. If game were paused in mid game and I was warned, I would immediately stop doing whatever it was I did.
How would you respond if you were suspended for breaking a rule:
Take the punishment, learn, and move on.
Could you create a team Twitter account and tweet 5-6 times per season about your team:
Was in a leavue last year that did that. It's easy enough to do.
Would you like to create team content like season previews, team articles, etc:
It's always interesting to do stuff like that. It keeps the GM busy and active. I would enjoy that very much.

What does sim football mean to you:
What you see on Sunday with given exceptions. You don't see the same play over and over, same formations over and over etc.
What interests you in joining a sim league:
I always wanted to be part of an enviornment that feels like a real professional league. Commentaries, writeups, etc. It gives more incentive to the game and makes it much more enjoyable when all 32 guys are on the same level of interest and seriousness.
What interests you about joining OUR league:
The redzone broadcast, level of organization and maturity that can bring a lot to the table.
Would you rather win for follow every rule perfectly:
Losing is part of success so follow every rule perfectly. Not fun to win when you cheat or break rules in my opinion.
What is your opinion on breaking records in a sim league:
Depends how many you are breaking and what they are, same players etc. Shouldn't be too often, it is a video game and stuff like that will happen.
How often do you run routes like outs, curls and comebacks:
More often in later downs when the first down is needed.
What would you do if you were told you broke a rule after a game had been played:
Ask what I did wrong and deal with the consequences.
How would you respond if you were suspended for breaking a rule:
Take my suspension since I indeed broke the rules.
