Watching this year, Arizona cardinals team I'm not sure what exactly to make of them. Defense for the most part is playing sound as can be. Rookie corner Fitzpatrick, is playing nice learning and improving that's a bright spot. The defense ends are getting there sacks but linebacker and defense tackle has been up and down all year but it's a overall top 10 defense.
What do we make of the cardinals offense, I'm clueless here. Mason Rudolph in his second full year has played every game. He's been careful with the foootball and last week carried them over them niners. Fitzgerald, John Brown, and Philly Brown have become a nice trio with Floyd still hurt. OJ Howard there flashy tight end from last year has dropped to many passes this year he's basically a check down option these days.
The reason the cardinals running attack has become one the leagues best to worst can't be David Johnson or denard Robinson both when given room can get 4 yards. The last few games the cardinals have become less ball control and more of a passing team. Johnson will go for a 1,000 baring injury but you must figure why the line is basically inept this far in season.
When asked the coach said this far in the year your line is the way it basically is. We can't go and change things or reinvent a line right now.its going to be something addressed that's for sure. We are happy that we beat our division rivals, but we need more touchdowns and less field goals. We are making a lot of progrsss not making costly turnovers. The next game against the chargers and niners are going to prove what kind of team going ahead this might be. They are definitely in a win now mentally.
The next few games are ones to watch , if not we are going be talking about draft and free agency when playoffs are so close.
