I was curious who might be interested in something like this. The premise is to play a game like Madden 25 or MLB The Show 14 and act only as the General Manager. All actual games would be simmed but you would have control over the other parts of your franchise (draft, free agents, trades, etc).
Ther are quite a few money leagues out there right now but they all involve actually playing the games out. While I like the idea in principle, they tend to encourage guys to use the latest "cheese" or glitch to get an edge. By limiting the actual gameplay to the AI, this greatly reduces the odds of one being able to cheat to gain an edge. I kind of liken it to being the GM of a real team. All you get to do is buy the groceries. The AI is going to make the meal
