Good Day Bengals fans and NFL fans around the world: Just wanted to give a recap of the 2016 - 2017 season.

Let's start off with the high notes: The rushing game was a great piece of our offense beside the minor setback of injuries. Giovani Bernard was doing extremely great by averaging over 4.8 yards per carry. In spite of sharing the carrying load with Jeremy Hill.

A.J. Green had a good season with having over 1000 yards and Tyler Eifert had 796 yards.

Just wanted to put a spotlight on some up and coming players:
  • Tyler Kroft (yes another Tyler): he's been tearing it up for our team while Eifert was injured
  • William Jackson III is another player that receivers are going to fear
On the defensive side George Iloka continues to amaze this team with his hard work. Iloka lead the team in tackles and is ready to take that all-star step. Vontaze Burfict is always causing offensive coordinators to stay up all night with his play. Burfict ended up with 85 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and 3 ints.

The disappointing part is that Andy Dalton took a step back with his turnovers and the team miss the post season after it's disappointing exit in last years playoffs to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Important footnotes:

  • LOLB Karlos Dansby Retires after his service in the NFL
  • LT Andrew Whitworth Retires after his service in the NFL
The next report will detail the offseason for your Cincinnati Bengals
