The Chargers finish their preseason on a good note winning all four of their games! Even though it's preseason, some people may think these games don't matter. Tell it to these coaches and players that think otherwise! You may not get to see the starters much, to the guys trying to make an NFL team this is and may have been their last chance at becoming a pro! The Chargers organization would like to congratulate the players that made the 53 man roster as well as their practice squad!

Despite a devastating injury to rookie QB, DeShone Kizer on his very first snap, the Chargers feel that he will definitely be able to contribute to this team once he recovers from his injury. With Kizer being injured the Chargers felt that they had to dive into free agency for a QB to compete for the backup job until Kizer came back, signing Thad Lewis. Zach Mettenberger,, did have a game winning drive in their week 2 preseason game which looked like he may be their guy. That was his biggest moment in the preseason outside of that he put together some nice drives and he also turned the ball over quite a bit! Thad Lewis, showed us some good things for somebody who was limited on the Chargers playbook. Coach, Mike McCoy will have to make a decision and it may not be until game day in week 1. The Chargers are ready to prove that the loss in the 2nd round of the playoffs was a fluke and they intend to make it back to the playoffs and seek vengeance!

The standout from the Chargers rookies was none other than CB Ed Paris! Paris showed up trying prove that the other 31 teams made a mistake passing on him in the draft! Paris has guaranteed himself a spot on this team and as the #3 CB as the Chargers hoped he would do when they drafted him!
