Since we are in the playoffs, I wanted to put out a timeline for performing offseason tasks. We will need everyone to work with us to get your playoff games in quickly to help us navigate the offseason easily. For right now, here is the tentative schedule for the offseason:
THU 10/23 - Advance to Divisional Playoffs
SAT 10/25 - Advance to Conference Championships
SUN 10/26 - Advance to Super Bowl
MON 10/27 - Advance to re-signing period
MON 10/27 - Free agency - Period 1
TUE 10/28 - Free agency - Period 2
TUE 10/28 - Free agency - Period 3
WED 10/29 - Final scouting
WED 10/29 - 8 PM CST - NFL Draft
Depending on how quickly we get through with the playoffs will determine how much time we have for free agency. We will likely advance through re-signings and each free agency period every 6-12 hours. We will need to advance to final scouting early on WED so guys have time to finish scouting and put together their draft boards. So that gives us roughly 36-48 hours to get through re-signings and three free agency periods.
Everyone will need to make themselves available or be ok with the CPU simming those activities. If you cannot make the draft, then you can have someone not affiliated with the league draft for you.
Draft
The draft will start promptly at 8 PM CST on WED. Each pick has (I believe) 2 minutes to make their selection. You can access your scouting during the draft. However, it isn't the most user friendly so setting up a draft board before the draft is recommended.
Trading of picks and players under 80 OVR during the draft are permitted without league approval. However, if you want to trade a player rated 80 OVR or better, it needs to be submitted for league approval the TUE before the draft. Trades with the CPU are NOT allowed.
