Owner: Billy Carter – Carter has tons of experience in NCAA, but last year was his first season as a GM in the NFL CFM. Carter is known to be a great in the field of player development, which is exactly what the 2017 Miami Dolphins will need. Carter lost some games last season, but also won some games against some very tough opponents that was not expected. Carter always has his team ready to play, and tries to play tough smash mouth football. The Dolphins hope that in hiring Carter they will establish the mentality that even in defeat the opponent will know we had been there.
Offense: Playbook TBD – Last season Carter had trouble finding an offense that he liked, and it wasn’t until the end of the cycle that he found the playbook that fit his style of play. Carter likes a balanced attack, and believes in running the football. Carter likes big plays as much as the next guy, but will play a take what the defense gives him approach.
Defense: Playbook TBD – Carter likes to run a defensive package that puts his players in the best place to make plays. Last season Carter switched between the 4-3 and 3-4 each season based on his roster before finally sticking with the 3-4. Carter is not afraid to blitz, and tries to figure out the other user’s tendencies.
